We took a spontaneous trip to Florida and found ourselves aboard our pilot's final flight before retirement. In a heartwarming gesture, his family joined us on the journey from New York to commemorate this occasion. Passing out lollipops adorned with a photo of the pilot, his grandson calls him "Grumpy." Before takeoff, he delivered a speech, reflecting on his remarkable career of safely transporting over 600 thousand passengers. Upon landing in Florida, we were greeted by firetrucks creating a water arch, a fitting salute to his retirement.
