Happy Cinco de Mayo!

We love to celebrate different cultures and Cinco de Mayo is the perfect day to do so. We love Mexican food. We are lucky to have an authentic Mexican restaurant near our house. It is one of our favorite restaurants to eat at, but since we know that the restaurant will be packed today, we are celebrating at home by making our own Mexican food, tacos, fajitas and chips and salsa. And we have a store-bought Tres leches cake for dessert. 

Anthony went to Mexico when he was 9 years old with his family and they loved everything about the country. They often talk about this family trip. His parents still have the ceramic birds that Anthony and his brother painted on the trip, and they display them every summer in their backyard.
