We are all connected.

We love Animal Kingdom and we had such a wonderful day. The icon of the park is called the Tree of Life and it has over 300 carved animals in its bark – to me it is a reminder that we are all connected. 

Since we were a little tired from the day before at Epcot we decided to relax by the resort pool in the morning. The parks were busy because it was a holiday week, but we were able to get a pass for our favorite ride, Flight of Passage from the Avatar movie. This simulator ride is so amazing, you actually feel like you are flying on the back of the banshee. We also went to the Festival of the Lion King live show and walked through Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail where we saw gorillas, hippos, zebras, monkeys and all kinds of birds. We introduced Anthony’s parents to one of our favorite lunch spot and they loved it.

In the evening we went to Disney Springs for a delicious dinner and after that we got ice cream and listened to a live band. It was a perfect day!
