Week in North Carolina

We have had a fantastic week on vacation with Anthony's family. We rented a house on the Outer Banks. We hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July! We have spent most of our time here at the beach and the pool at the house. Each family picked a theme night to cook. Anthony and I chose the 4th of July and an American meal. We made grilled shrimp, hamburgers, hotdogs, homemade mac and cheese, salad, french fries, and corn - for dessert, I made brownies and Rice Krispies Treats, an ice cream sundae bar, and watermelon. All 3 of our nieces agreed that we had the best night of food, partly because we were the only ones to plan the dessert. 

 

Going down to the beach in the evening and watching the sunset has been a trip highlight.
