Fun weekend with more celebrations

We had a busy weekend; we went to my sister's house on Friday night. We have been promising the kids that we would come over and swim. Kayla, Matthew, and Sophia were so happy to have us over - they were showing us all their new tricks; cannon balls and dives into the pool, cartwheels, backward walkovers on the lawn, and little Sophia is potty training, and she showed us that she goes on the potty. 

 

Sunday, we organized around the house and went to Anthony's parent's house for a BBQ. We saw our nieces, Mia, Sofia, and Ella. We got together to celebrate Anthony's mom's birthday. We had a lot of fun catching up with the girls on all their summer activities; they went camping as a family, attended weekly sports camps, and went to Hershey Park with their other grandparents. They did a lot this summer, but we think they liked our family trip to the Outerbanks the best. Monday was Anthony's mom's actual birthday, so we went out to dinner to celebrate at one of her favorite Mexican restaurants. Again,  the four of us had a great time laughing and catching up.
