Back to school and paddleboarding

About 6 years ago, we were heading to south Florida to Anthony's parent's condo for a vacation, and we purchased a Groupon for a paddleboard rental. We were unsure if we would like it, but we enjoy this water activity. We later purchased a board to bring to the lake. The paddleboard looks like a surfboard that is at least 10 feet long; you stand on it and use a paddle to move across the water. It’s a great activity for the lake because the water is so flat. It’s also a great workout. Taking the paddleboard out each day while at the lake was so nice. I like touring the lake taking in the beauty of the water and the mountains. I almost paddled the whole lake on the last day of our mini vacation. Something I plan to do during our next trip to the lake.

Anthony headed back to school this week for staff school. He proctored makeup regents on his first day. The students do not return until after labor day. During these two staff school weeks, teachers prepare for students. In addition, he coaches and manages the team sports for the entire school, so he is also scheduling all the sports programs.

It has been a busy week for both of us, and we hope we can head back to the lakehouse soon.
