Magical Getaway

Last Wednesday night, we flew to Florida for a trip to Disney World to celebrate Christmas and Anthony's Birthday. We love Christmas, and nothing is better than Christmas time at Disney World. Everything is decorated so beautifully, all the resorts and the parks. On Thursday, we went to Hollywood Studios, it was a bit rainy, but that kept the crowds away. We got on s lot of rides with extremely low wait times, like Star Wars, Toy Story, and the new Mickey and Minnie ride, and saw the updated Fantasmic show. Then, we decided to leave the park for dinner, and we took the Skyliner to a resort and had dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. It was such an excellent start to our long weekend getaway. 

 

On Friday, we walked around Disney Springs in the morning, then went resort hopping to decorations at some hotels, then had a late lunch and headed to the Magic Kingdom for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. It’s a party dedicated to everything Christmas. We rode some rides, met characters, got cookies, and watched the Christmas fireworks and parade on the main street where they pipe in snow. It was so Magical!
