Restore & refresh

During summer, Anthony loves refinishing and restoring furniture. I guess you can say it's his hobby. He just completed his latest project, this old antique desk. Our niece needed a new desk. He found this desk at the side of the road, and it needed some love.

Our niece Ava loves the color green, so Anthony found the perfect shade to go with her room. It’s amazing how an old piece of furniture can be repurposed and saved. He started by cleaning the desk and taking off all the drawer pulls, and he created a solution to help get the grime off the pulls and then hand scrubbed them. It is pretty awesome to see the drawer pulls were black; now, you can see the original color. We can’t wait to drop it off at her house. She will be so excited to have a new desk for her room in her favorite color.
